On August 14, 2025 SIBR celebrated the grand opening of its new Collinsville headquarters with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce. REALTORS®, affiliates, and community leaders toured the modern facility, networked, and enjoyed refreshments and live music as SIBR began its next chapter.
At The Power of Advocacy & Occupancy Inspections, members explored the importance of local occupancy inspections and how advocacy impacts both REALTORS® and the communities they serve. The session highlighted the difference that informed, engaged members can make at the local, state, and national levels.
Our sold-out golf tournament in September was a huge success, raising $15,000 in profit while bringing members together for a day of fun and camaraderie. Proceeds directly benefited the Women’s Violence Prevention Center and the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, supporting survivors and future real estate professionals.
On April 25, 2025 SIBR hosted Thriving in 2025: Building Winning Communities Together, bringing REALTORS®, community leaders, and city officials together to collaborate on local initiatives. The forum featured members of SIBR’s Board, the Affordable Housing Committee, and representatives from Shiloh, O’Fallon, and Belleville.
On April 29, 2025 over 70 SIBR members joined 680 real estate professionals at the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference & Lobby Day in Springfield to advocate for REALTOR® priorities. The day included meetings with lawmakers, informational sessions, and a strong demonstration of REALTOR® unity across the state.
