This course includes a required Code of Ethics segment, which fulfills the NAR requirement for new members joining the association.
Failure to complete the New Member Orientation within two (2) class offerings from the date the Board receives the application will result in the denial of membership or termination of provisional membership, effective immediately after missing the second class. If membership is denied, the applicant’s MARIS and Supra services will be suspended immediately.
Applicants must also complete the National Association of REALTORS® Fairhaven online course within 60 days of submitting their application.
If you are applying as a secondary member, you are not required to attend New Member Orientation if you have already completed Code of Ethics training through your primary association.
You will need to provide a current Letter of Good Standing from your primary association confirming your dues are current and that you have completed Code of Ethics, Fairhaven, and New Member Orientation (or equivalent).
