The Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS is dedicated to promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct and ethics in the real estate profession. We are committed to enhancing membership by identifying and providing programs, products, services, and knowledge that enable our members to conduct business successfully and provide Americans with safe and affordable housing.

A monthly Maris or MRED subscription to the MLS will provide you with exclusive access to the service, offering you unsurpassed business management.

Electronic Keys and Lockboxes
Lease the electronic Supra eKEY App. We also sell new and gently used lockboxes.

Contracts, Brochures, & Supplies
We sell, at minimal cost, a variety of Illinois REALTORS -approved contracts and brochures, as well as basic supplies for use in your business.

Code of Ethics, Mediation, & Arbitration Assistance
We provide Code of Ethics, mediation, and arbitration forms at no cost to you.

Continuing Education & Transition Courses
We offer a variety of continuing education courses, including those required for the Illinois license transition, to help you comply with state licensure renewal. We continuously monitor this program, focusing on the needs of our members and the requirements of the real estate industry.

Member Events

Constant Communication & Knowledge
Through our regular e-mail bulletins and weekly newsletter, you will be kept appraised of important information and happenings within the association and industry. You will come to know the association staff as an indispensable resource throughout your real estate career.

Legislative & Political Activism
Our local Government Affairs Director serves as an advocate for REALTORS® and works with local government officials to address issues that affect you. At all levels, we work tirelessly to shed light on the problems that REALTORS® face and urge the government to support your efforts in protecting property rights,

New Member Orientation
All new REALTOR® members of SIBR are required to attend a New Member Orientation course, which outlines how SIBR can assist you throughout your real estate career and how you can make the most of your membership.

Affiliate Speaker Series and Events
The Affiliates Committee hosts FREE events and seminars on a variety of topics, providing REALTORS® with information they need to succeed in their business.

Association Image Campaign
We have created an Association Image Campaign aimed at promoting REALTORS® and homeownership. This program is implemented through print, radio, and television advertising that is run throughout the year and compliments NAR's national public image campaign.
